OPSIS Direct-a-Call enables your assistant to instantly notify you of incoming telephone calls, and gives you the ability to respond with a single keystroke or "click" of your mouse.

As a stand-alone system there is no need to upgrade or modify your existing telephone facility.

How does it work?

You're on the telephone or in a meeting. Your assistant takes a call for you.

Using OPSIS Direct-a-Call, they let you know who's calling by using a fast key, e.g. "COMP" (Completion) to automatically use a standard message, or by typing a message, e.g. "Solicitors on line - money has been sent for completion re Mr Thomas", then send it to you......

Your assistant lets you know whos calling by typing a message. You select your response with a single key stroke.

Instantly, the message pops up on your computer screen.

To reply, you simply select your desired response from the customisable message palette with a click of the mouse or by hitting the corresponding function key. Your reply, such as "PLEASE ASK THEM TO HOLD", now appears on your assistant's screen.

Each button can be modified to say whatever the user desires.

Security

Unlike many Internet-based instant messaging services currently available, OPSIS Direct-a-Call operates within the privacy of the organisation's computer network. The result is secure, private, internal communication between members of the organisation without the risk of messages being viewed by outside parties.

Network Friendly

OPSIS Direct-a-Call integrates seamlessly into the existing office computer system. It requires no dedicated server, no modifications to existing network or telephone system infrastructure, and no reconfiguration of individual client workstations. OPSIS Direct-a-Call uses the standard TCP/IP protocol and is compatible with DHCP and Citrix.

Auto-Reply Function

OPSIS Direct-a-Call can be set to automatically send a response to any incoming message. For example, if a users is in a meeting and can't respond to incoming messages, he/she can select "I am in a meeting" as their AutoReply message. This reply will be sent back to anyone sending that user a message. You can quickly select from a number of standard Auto-Reply messages, or you can type in your own message.

Alert/Message History

The Message History allows the user to View, Delete or Print stored messages.

The result is a cost-effective LAN messaging program that delivers the benefits of larger and more expensive messaging systems. Easy to use and easy to administer, OPSIS Direct-a-Call can support networks of up to 100 users.

OPSIS Direct-a-Call runs in your Systray waiting for messages and uses between 1.5Mb and 6Mb of memory and less than 1Mb of temporary hard disk space.
